Kate Wilks
Specialist Neurological and Vestibular Rehab Physiotherapist

Kate graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014 with First Class Honours in BSc Physiotherapy. She has continued to strive for excellence throughout her career by ensuring that she goes above and beyond to help her patients achieve their goals.

 

After graduating, Kate proceeded to work in the NHS where she has over 10 years of experience in both the acute and community setting. 

 

Kate has worked in a variety of specialities including orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients and care of the elderly. However, her specialism lays within neuro physiotherapy. More specifically, Kate has taken a keen interest in stroke rehabilitation, developing a wealth of knowledge and experience from undertaking courses in addition to her work.

 

Kate is now a Senior Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist and team lead in one of the largest NHS trusts in England. Given Kate’s experience, she is confident in applying her Bobath and vestibular rehabilitation skills to treat a diverse client group and at any stage of their condition. 

 

In her spare time, Kate is a keen netballer, who provides injury prevention interventions at her club, as well as assisting the rehabilitation her of teammates back to full fitness. Kate is a valuable member of our team who guarantees to do her utmost to help individuals achieve their desired outcomes.
