Jordan Aimey

Jordan Aimey specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist

Jordan graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014 and has developed a range of expertise across physiotherapy in both the NHS and privately. 

 

Currently, Jordan works as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, one of his specialist areas, alongside sports rehabilitation. In this role, he treats patients with varying conditions, ranging from back pain to achilles ruptures and knee arthritis. Jordan takes a holistic approach to his assessments, focusing on movement and posture analysis prior to using a combination of acupuncture, manual therapy and exercised-based interventions to ensure optimal outcomes for his patients. Jordan firmly believes in not just treating symptoms, but identifying the cause and educating clients on preventing a recurring injury. Jordan’s time in the NHS has additionally provided experience working with stroke and other neurological patients, elderly patients and those with long-term respiratory problems. 

 

Jordan’s private work has included a number of seasons at professional football and rugby clubs, treating athletes at Charlton Athletic FC and Hemel Stags RFC respectively. 

 

In Jordan's spare time, he enjoys playing sports and going to the gym to maintain general fitness. With Jordan having such a keen interest in sports, he knows the importance of good quality rehab to get individuals back to optimal function in an efficient time frame.

Kate graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2014 with First Class Honours in BSc Physiotherapy.  She has continued to strive for excellence throughout her career by ensuring that she goes above and beyond to help her patients achieve their goals.

 

After graduating, Kate proceeded to work in the NHS where she has over 5 years of experience in both the acute and community setting. 

 

Kate has worked in a variety of specialities including orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients and care of the elderly. However, her specialism lays within neurosciences. More specifically, Kate has taken a keen interest in stroke rehabilitation, developing a wealth of knowledge and experience from undertaking courses in addition to her work.

 

Kate is now a Senior Specialist Neuro Physiotherapist and team lead in one of the largest NHS trusts in England. Given Kate’s experience, she is confident in applying her Bobath and vestibular rehabilitation skills to treat a diverse client group and at any stage of their condition. 

 

In her spare time, Kate is a keen netballer, who provides injury prevention interventions at her club, as well as assisting the rehabilitation her of teammates back to full fitness. Kate is a valuable member of our team who guarantees to do her utmost to help individuals achieve their desired outcomes.
